The Canadian initiative to stop Wireless Electrical and Electromagnetic Pollution
19 December 2012The link below is an article that describes a technology that General Motors is developing to expand its vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication systems. The new technology will use Wi-Fi Direct to sense pedestrians and cyclists in poor visibility conditions. Car and Driver magazine reported the technology could be mandatory in-car equipment by 2020. Wow, more Wi-Fi is on the way.
DTE Energy has sued a couple who own homes in Macomb and Oakland counties for removing a so-called "smart meter" which the homeowners say is a health hazard.
"When she was getting sick", he says, "I removed the meter and I put the analog meter on and I wrapped up their smart meter and I sent it back to them unharmed."
But he says he doesn't feel he's fighting with DTE.
"We're here to help DTE, because DTE needs to know to protect themselves from the liability. This could very well be the next asbestos or tobacco situation."
Norman Lambe, a California-based Insurance adjuster, believes there is a problem with the meters.
"For myself, as an adjuster, I believe the smart meters are a real threat to the safety of your home, business and property. I have personally worked two large homeowner fires in which the smart meters were determined as responsible. Also, they have been responsible for several small fires in which appliances and computers have been destroyed."
After careful consideration the senior researcher Vibeke Jensen Frøkjær from DTU was on the Danish Radio 'Aftenshowet' and told of her anguish as an electrical hypersensitive. She was wearing a dress with silver threads to protect from the electromagnetic radiation in the studio...
American Academy of Pediatricians Endorses Cell Phone Safety Legislation
There is much controversy over the placement of cell phone towers these ... The rate of cancer in that building went up to ten times the national average.
It was just approved the Government's proposal to change the EMF measurement's procedure .
Aim was, clearly, to push the LTE (4G) antenna's installation (new thousands will come) after that Phone providers spent some 3 B to buy new frequencies.
Within a new law , in some way requested by EC, named Decreto Sviluppo (to help economy's development) big changes were introduced to reduce the 'digital divide' in the State and Public offices, but also the introduce, actually, a de-regulation for EMF's limits.
Before the EMF's measurement was based in the average between 6 min's procedure: now the limit ( = 6 V/m) is considered as the average during the 24 hr !!!
And also the measurement should be performed indoor the residential flat, and not outdoor (terrace).
Other significant changes were introduced to keep easy to install an antenna e.g. the a roof of a building .
The NGOs, local associations and some MPs tried to speek up their voice against this new rules: but the voice was ... voiceless, due the Media are sponsored as we know mainly by the providers' advertisements !

Mobile phone companies, which have decommissioned about 80 cellphone towers in the last few weeks in Bangalore, ostensibly because of the scare about dangerous radiation levels, are now worried about not only their business becoming unviable but also about a deterioration in the quality of services they offer
