Archery: between arrows and readings with candlelight, a style of life by a gifted archer
AFP - Because his family is electrosensitive, Gael Prevost grew up in an isolated farm in Forez, lit by candles and heated over a wood fire, with a great passion for the archery, he is at 18, one of the great French hopes.
The vice-world champion team, looking with his two teammates European title this week in Amsterdam, is not easily reachable. In his own world, mobile phone, computer, tablet computers and other objects are parasites.
"I am not bothered because I have none. As I have never had a laptop, I do not feel a lack. If I want one? Absolutely not," he says. "I used a phone just once or twice when there is a call to a journalist. My coach handed it to me, but never beyond that!"
This tall young man of 1m96, which looks good in all respects, understands a little out of place in this digital age. Just did an email address and a Facebook account, and agreeing to share small portions of video games with his colleagues.
"Playing in a group can be fun, but I have to play alone in my room, I do not see the point," said he. In his spare time, between 400 arrows shot his daily training, he prefers to attack the great adventure novels of literature, music, or simply walk.
After the European Championships, he will relax with his parents, in this "little piece of Forez clueless" where tranquility is assured. The village is so isolated that he and his siblings attended school at home.
He likes the "special atmosphere" that emerges from this family home, where candles and oil lamps used to light up and fires to keep warm. Electricity is used only for the needs of the pig that carries his father.
This lifestyle has become when his parents made the link between electrical and insomnia and headaches they suffered. "Since we have eliminated the TV remote and electricity as possible from home, they have more headaches and sleep very well," said Gael Prevost. "My sister is also very sensitive when there is wifi in a building or a laptop turned on her side. But me, that I never bothered."
Of this education, the young man fired a behavior posed, in line with his discipline: "The archery is a sport where one has much to know yourself. It is important to create a bubble of calm around and drop more or less everything that is happening around. "
he was 6 years old when he discovered archery for fun first, then later in the club. At 13, he joined the center of Bordeaux and includes Insep two years later. This lifestyle quiet did not prevent him from rush: bachelor at 16 and already vice-world champion team in 17 years.
"Gael is intriguing because he is timeless, atypical, notes Anne Reculet, the captain of France. But he is also surprising in performance. On that one as intellectually, he is far from being late. "
Workers in the education ministry were informed that the working day of part of them would be shortened from now on in two hours. However the workers are not satisfied. The reason: it is not a prize, but an intermediate solution of the ministry's executive in order to deal with the worker's claim on radiation in the offices that endangers their health. During the last years, workers in the education ministry noticed an increase of cancer among the workers, and many cases of miscarriages among the women workers. They decided to hire a private company, that determined that the building is near a powerline that emits high levels of magnetic field, especially in the upper floors of the buidling. The education ministry checked also several times but the results were not received yet. The workers fear for their health, they approached lately to the executive of the ministry, Dalit Shtauber, and she promised to check the subject and how it's possible to make it easier for the workers.
Manager of the national marketing branch in the power company, Zvi Segev: according to 2002 law, the company is committed that all the network and the distribution in populated areas will be under the ground. Experts committee forced the company to give 8-10 billion shekels every year to bury the infrastructure in the ground in order to diminish the phenomenon of magnetic fields, in addition there was determined priorities order, in the head of the list are schools and kindergardens.

This video will be shown back to back four times this coming Saturday May 26 at 11 am and 11:30 pm and Sunday May 27 at 10 am and 9 pm on the Shaw network in
This is where we need your help.

I would like to have a program that has been accepted to be shown by our local Shaw network in
Question- Are there CRTC regulations governing the Shaw cable network that pertain directly to this issue? Also what is the CRTC's interpretation of these regulations when applied to this specific matter?
Best Regards
