Residents raise concerns about health effects of digital meters
Eventually, after obtaining a note from her doctor, Con Edison agreed to replace Hertz's digital meter with an older, analog model. Hertz says her condition improved rapidly when the analog meter was installed.
"I felt like I was let out of being electrocuted," she said.

Whirlpool Not Smart ?
They failed to examine the adverse health effects of wireless radiation.
Whirlpool, a major home appliance manufacturer, has announced that before the end of 2011 it intends to manufacture one million smart appliances. The company has made a commitment that before 2016 it will make its appliances compatible with smart-grids.

Hear the various pulsed frequencies
Because we cannot hear, see, feel, taste, or smell microwave (MW) or radio frequency (RF) radiation most people are unaware when they are exposed, unless of course they are sensitive or have a meter to measure their exposure.
Some meters that detect MW radiation convert the MW signal into sound, which mimics the frequencies and pulses emitted by various devices including mobile phones, wireless baby monitors, blue tooth devices, Wi-Fi routers and smart phones or cell phone antennas. These meters are more informative that those which just provide a digital number. The audio meters can tell you the different audio signatures these device make. And there is evidence that the pulsed digital frequencies are more harmful than continuous wave forms.

"It does modify the way you teach," said the district's executive director of instructional technology Mary Hewett. "Wi-Fi is almost something teachers use without thinking because the computer isn't attached to the wall."
Too bad that teachers are not thinking about Wi Fi, they could have learned about the long term dangers faced by pupils and themselves!
