Wireless Electrical and Electromagnetic Pollution News

Yesterday we remembered the terrible terrorist attacks that killed thousands of innocent people on Sept 11, 2001.  It was easy to recognise the horror of the situation, explosions, fire, bodies and wreckage all shown live and repeated on television many times in the ten years since.
 
A disaster with much worse consequences may now be taking place but in slow motion.  Exposure to microwave radiation is likely to harm very many more people than 911, but it will not be nearly as visible, newsworthy and shocking.  Cancer, various illnesses, shortened lives and slow painful deaths are likely to be the consequences of using wireless convenience devices such as cell phones, cordless telephones and Wi Fi.
 
Who are the terrorists that are allowing this to happen?  Why are Governments not taking this known threat seriously and protecting the public?

Tomorrow, Tuesday, September 13, BBC's World News America will have a
segment about electrosensitivity. This was filmed in Green Bank, West
Virginia. It will be aired on PBS stations, including KNME in Santa Fe
at 5:30 PM.

The National Radio Astronomy Observatory is located in Green Bank. To
protect the observatory from interference, a Radio Quiet Zone is
enforced in the area around Green Bank. Nobody within a 13,000 square
mile area around the observatory is allowed to put up any radio antennas
without consulting the observatory. This is the only legally protected
Radio Quiet Zone in the world.

A growing community of electrically sensitive people live in Green Bank.
BBC News became alerted to this issue as a result of the recent
scientific study by Dr. Andrew Marino.

Smart Meters emit pulses in a range similar to human brain, heart and neural bio-rates. Some people become very ill immediately while others are injured over long-term. Their are legal, medical and insurance injury, harms and risks being reported from communities with Smart meter installed. The wireless low-radio pulse devices cause irritation, sleeplessness, dizziness, confusion, heart tremor, brain, neural and heart pulse-function cellular interference injuring from over-exposure and no ability to rest from it, a percentage of the population. Medical and other remote and wireless radio devices can be affected.

Those injured by exposure cannot afford to prove in a court how that happens by persistent cross-exposure and cellular exhaustion, those who become injured can't get insurance in most cases. More importantly citizens cannot stop the emission-pulses from the side of their home and known and unknown multiplied cross-pulsing effects from many growing wireless emissions from other homes. Injured is the quiet enjoyment of the home which ought to be able to turn technology on or off as needed for restful place for cellular quiet, calm or healing, most especially at night.

I love technology, I also know I can choose when or how to escape (as much as is possible) to rest. There are lower-risk, more cost-effective options such as old system remain in place until more is known or injury covered by insurance or cost of removal by borne by power company or NEW METERING safer options, e.g. FIBRE OPTICS, to name two options. NO THANKS to Smart meters.

This is my concern as a mother and my opinion about this as a concerned citizen. It's imperative this fast advancing technological day-and-age to make sure electro-pollution doesn't short circuit the human cells, brain and nerves! Especially in privacy of home which is for rest or healing. The ability to TURN OFF "technology" is not allowed by s. meters and that in my view among other things, is legally, medical and health dangerous.

A city in France, Varades, just opted to tune down antennas to 0.6V/m

The City Council of Varades, in Loire Atlantique, France, voted
unanimously on September, the 6th, Maximum Exposition Limit to 0.6V/m
on all parish territory.

The Mayor, Dominique TREMBLAY, and the  Municipal Council, aware of
the urgent necessity of protecting human health, decided to conform to
the prescription released by the Council of Europe published in May
2011.

This decision encompasses implementation of autonomous measuring means
to control levels of exposure.

A contrasted studies, such as the protocol put in place in the COMOP
studies (Comité Opérationnel - state-supervised Operational Commity)
can also be put in practice.

National Association Robin des Toits, in coordination with the City,
will help throughout the process with assistance for organization and
in taking concrete steps to apply this limit.

Another City Council decided of a moratory over installation of new
mobile phone masts over its parrish territory.

Mrs Dominique VOYNET, Mayor of the City of Montreuil, France, through
a letter sent August 2nd 2011, informs telecom operators of the City
Council's decision, on the basis of precautionary principle, to
"oppose systematically each new request of installation permit of
telephone masts, and to suspend any new installation or modification
over the existing fleet of equipment."

One conclusion is clear :

What one City Council does, every other City Council can do just the
same.

Robin des Toits asks each member and correspondant to transmit the
voted text and the letter of the Mayor of Montreuil to their elected
officials to encourage them to follow these examples of responsability
and political courage, and hence have a chance to underline that
protection of the individual health is fully a part of their duties.

We all gather to address our support and congratulations to the City
Council of VARADES, to their elected officials, and their Mayor.

Let's give this event a large audience.

Wi Fi Removed from Ontario School
 
A private school in Collingwood, Ontario has removed Wi-Fi and has installed wired technology.  This is excellent news.  I wish other schools would follow their lead.  I understand that the teachers in the school are grateful as are the parents that their children are NOT going to be exposed to microwave radiation, a possible carcinogen.

I find it fascinating that the public school system is promoting Wi-Fi, refuses to listen to parents, silences teachers, ignores the research, and can't get Wi-Fi installed fast enough, even though many of these schools already have a wired system, so the Wi-Fi is redundant.  It seems that they were allotted money for this (money that can't be used for anything else) and every schools is following like sheep to the slaughter. 

Several private schools, in contrast, are either not installing Wi-Fi or are removing it because of health concerns.  I certainly know which school I would want my children to attend.  It is a no brainer.  I expect these private schools are also teaching their students to think independently, to question authority, to believe in their own convictions and not be lead down the garden path. If public schools are teaching independent thinking, they are certainly not walking their talk.

Ontario school cuts Wi-Fi over safety concerns


Pretty River Academy in Collingwood, Ont., a private school with 150 students attending kindergarten to Grade 12, is the first Ontario school to remove Wi-Fi from campus.

The school's old Wi-Fi system was taken out over the summer and replaced with Ethernet connections ahead of the first day of the school year.
In May the World Health Organization said radio frequency radiation from WiFi and cell phones posed a similar health threat to DDT, lead and car exhaust.
Principal Roberta Murray-Hirst says the new hard-wired Internet system is actually faster than their previous system and gives teachers control over when students can go online.

Murray-Hirst said they did not receive any complaints from students or parents about health concerns but decided to take the precaution anyway.
"We like to be proactive and obviously safety is always a concern," she said.

The debate over wireless Internet in Ontario schools grew heated last summer when a group of elementary school teachers attempted to have the technology banned from classrooms in the Niagara region.

The Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario voted to keep wireless Internet but a group called the Safe Schools Committee has continued to push for a ban.
They claim exposure to wireless Internet causes headaches, insomnia and rashes in students – afflictions that seem to subside on weekends and vacations, only to return when the kids go back to school.

Ontario's Chief Medical Officer of Health said wireless Internet posed no threat to children at schools.

Stopping Wireless Invasion at the Door

In a blitz blockade of the international wireless industry, a Florida community has prohibited wireless "smart" meters and their infrastructure. Most but not all households received on Saturday, August 6 a postcard announcing the advent of a wireless, "smart" meter system.  The following Tuesday, the water utility replaced the black plastic covering their water meters but installed no wireless meters.  Throughout that week, informational materials and stickers were distributed to households, while residents investigated the situation. 

Over the next mid-August weekend, representatives of about 75 households in Isles of Bellalago in Kissimmee, FL signed a legal letter refusing wireless meters. Their reasoning included that the intended system would involve the installation of illegal surveillance devices and would violate their respective contracts. Residents also placed colorful stickers in their present, fully functional but noninvasive meters, stating, "SMART METER FREE ZONE" and "DO NOT INSTALL SMART METER HERE".  

The entity claiming authority over water usage, Toho Water Authority, received the neighbors' letter by hand-delivery and certified mail on August 17. Early the very next morning, two workmen targeted some of the signatory households, installing some meters and infrastructure. 

Community members sprang into action. One large man strongly informed the workers that their actions were illegal and that they had to leave. The workers phoned their "boss," who told them to respond that there was a "federal mandate" to install the meters. The large man informed the workers and their boss that the community had legal remedies. The workers left and never returned.   

The initial signatories of the legal letter grew to over 100 households in one week.  With many of the houses in the area unoccupied, some used only as vacation homes, this number represented all but a handful of the potential signatories. Three energy industry workers living in the community declined to sign, some agreeing that the letter's assertions were true, but saying they'd lose their jobs if they became signatories.  

Targeted community members then faxed a letter stating there exists no federal mandate for any wireless grid or meters. They demanded that the meter on their property and any associated infrastructure be removed within 24 hours; else they reserved the right to remove it themselves.  

On Thursday, August 18, a legal letter with additional signatories was hand-delivered to the water authority.  Since that date, more household representatives have signed the letter.  Lawyers and others living in the community are geared up to ensure that the targeted households will be freed from all wireless meters and infrastructure. As of this date, well over 100 households are signatory to the letter, and >90% of the households in the community remain free of wireless invasion.
