Some very interesting expert testimony.
Refusal to accept smart meter leads to Peachland power cut

BC Hydro has turned off power to a Peachland residence after the homeowners replaced a smart meter with an uncertified analog meter.

Stutters has electromagnetic field sensitivity and had declined getting the smart meter for health reasons.

The family also runs an office out of their house with six employees. "Our livelihood depends on electricity in this house," said Stutters.

Holiday in the bunker? - A safe place for EHS

It almost seems like a cone meeting at, in the basement of Künzeller community center near Fulda. The former nuclear bunker was rebuilt after the end of the Cold War to the veritable bowling alley. But an advantage was use, because the basement is still radiate safely. And that is the real reason that has led very different people to pull for four days in a nuclear bunker. After all participants have the same problem: they are electro-hypersensitive (EHS), they feel high and low radiation and suffer greatly.

This disease was ridiculed years ago, patients often explained by their doctors simply crazy. But this view is changing, because the symptoms are due to the sensitivity of the massive expansion of mobile networks counted more frequently in medical practices.
Insomnia, inner vibration as under power, headache, dizziness, nausea, palpitations, word finding difficulties, depression, burnout, upsets, allergies / immune deficiency, high blood pressure, behavioral and learning disorders, hyperactivity in children and adolescents ..., the list of complaints is long.

Under the protection seekers in Künzeller bunker is the 44-year-old Ulrike goat horn from Erfurt. The trained nurse and occupational therapist is on early retirement due to massive radiation effects on their health. EHS diagnosis. "I can not participate in normal life, not spontaneous at the door, not just shopping times, otherwise the complaints begin immediately." Friends they have often had to go to low-radiation areas in the forest in order to protect them. Even in the depths of winter, they slept there in a tent. She was initially a pacemaker recommended because the measured cardiac arrhythmias were life-threatening. But in low-radiation areas, more extensive complaints disappeared. As now in Künzeller bunker. On the second day they could change their protective clothing against normal wear. No pain, no discomfort, finally sleep properly.
"The place where I can stop me, but they are becoming less and less," said the young early retiree.

The expansion of wireless networks by new standards such as LTE goes on unabated. Just recently, the result of a study by the Institute for Mobile and Satellite Radio Technology (IMST) was known: "The statistical analysis shows that in the studied locations, the total emissions has risen through the regular operation of the LTE networks by an average of about 40 percent," And.
The expansion of new digital radio TETRA authorities who wants to achieve a coverage of 97%, threatening the life environment electro-sensitive people.

The first time you open a nationwide fallout shelter for regeneration electro-diseased people came through the club "White Zone Rhön eV established, the Künzeller Mayor Peter Meinecke (CDU) was quickly convinced. The initiative of the electro-sensitive people accompanied the action. Her spokesman Klaus Schuhmacher asks: "Those affected suffer some for years and are now due to the increasing burden, including through the nationwide expansion of the LTE mobile network and the digital TETRA authorities Funke reaches physical limits." The group of fugitives radio is accompanied by Dr. Cornelia Waldmann-Selsam, a doctor from Bamberg. For years she collects case reports, case studies so affected people. She is co-author of the Bamberg doctors appeal of 2004, which calls for the reduction of limit values and the wireless strain. A reduction of limit values also requires the European Parliament in 2009.
So far nothing happened.

In a study by the University of Bielefeld in 2010 it was revealed that approximately 27% of the population on the basis of electromagnetic fields (EMFs) of mobile communications are concerned about their health, 9% feel even existing medical conditions.
One third of doctors holding mobile phone base stations according to the study for concern among physicians with alternative medicine education, it is even much more than half.

The Austrian Medical Association in 2012 expressed the suspicion "that environmental conditions such as the increasing public exposure to radio waves, eg from cordless phones, mobile phone base stations, mobile phones, GPRS, UMTS data cards for laptops / notebooks and wireless LAN (WLAN) but also to electric and magnetic fields emanating from pipes, equipment and facilities, is causally involved in discomfort for no apparent reasons. .. ". So clearly you can not move in Germany, at least not publicly. After all, doctors since March 2013 in Germany treatments that are required by exposure to radiation, properly settle with the insurance companies.
A de facto recognition of the disease EHS.

Warnings, there are always, but usually timid or convoluted. Rarely expressed are such as the World Health Organization, cell phone radiation may now classifies as carcinogenic to humans, known. The European Environment Agency compares the reluctance of policy mistakes in the meantime with asbestos and nicotine. The EU's highest decision-making body urged all European governments in May 2011 to mark a turning point in the mobile policy. You should reduce the radiation exposure and provide electrostatic sensitive people called white areas, sparking areas are available. White zones are exactly those of missing the Künzeller Bunker refugees. Therefore, they accepted the invitation of the Mayor Künzeller Peter Meinecke (CDU) to regenerate sparking in a bunker Künzeller time, with thanks. Through the nationwide expansion there are hardly any niches where people can retire, "white zones, as required by WHO and Euro Europe as early as 2011, there is still no" said Klaus Schuhmacher. And Dr. Waldmann Selsam adds: "Anyone with eyes open runs through the town, is to determine damage to trees in the vicinity of mobile phone base stations. It is so obvious. " The doctor is concerned for several years with the effects of radiation on trees and explains why: "Time and again we hear the view alone the fear of mobile phone radiation do ill.
Well, trees are not afraid, but they clearly respond to electrosmog "and shows nationwide documented cases.

Provisionally closed nursery in Barcelona after detecting lipoatrophy

It is reversible noncontagious disorder that is caused by the buildup of static electricity in the buildings
Thursday, April 18, 2013

Barcelona (Europa Press). - The City Council has decided to close temporarily Monday's municipal nursery of Eixample Roure after diagnosis up to four possible cases of semicircular lipoatrophy - two children and two workers - a reversible condition not contagious by accumulation of static electricity in the buildings.

This was reported on Monday the Councillor for Education and Universities, Gerard Ardanuy, in a press conference at the Barcelona called to report the preventive actions to be carried out, including specialists offer medical examinations Sant Pau Hospital Barcelona and younger employees, and establish two working groups to provide all the information.

Ardanuy said that has not yet found a causal relationship between cases and the situation of the nursery, because previous reports have not tested that meets the usual conditions of the 'sick buildings', although they are still awaiting the results of the latest technical inspections.

"Lipoatrophy arises in a typology of buildings and jobs that do not fit with the type of building or day care center labor positions", although in environmental analysis have located an area of the yard where could generate electrostatic currents, although not a defining element to link with alleged cases.

Health delegate Hall, Cristina Iniesta, has insisted that this disorder is difficult to detect and "highly unlikely in children", as usually occurs in adults who are long hours and continuously exposed to risk factors, have not been given, according to preliminary analysis.

The City Council immediately contact with families to look for alternatives that "everyone has a solution" which will likely be relocated to other nursery school in Barcelona's city, he pointed out. Indeed, in December the council temporarily closed Agustí Centelles library, located in the same complex but in a different building, after diagnosing three cases of this disease.

Technicians found that the assembled building elements could cause this condition, because the soil was slightly conductive, the space was too tight and not enough air is renewed, while the moisture level was not suitable, among others.

First case

Therefore, in September 2012, there was a "initial risk assessment" and took additional measures to assess the environmental conditions of the nursery and then ruled that the impact suffered by the library also affect school.

However, on March 12, the mother of a child from the center warned that the doctor had diagnosed lipoatrophy, which the Sant Pau in Barcelona later confirmed as "possible case" and finally dropped out of the nursery.

Since then, the Municipal Institute of Education of Barcelona (IMEB) and the Public Health Agency initiated the first studies and reported March 21 in the center parents until this Monday have known the new possible case of lipoatrophy a child, diagnosed by the Sant Pau, and the two other cases of educators from the center, detected through the Mutual.

Ardanuy has ruled that the library's disease may have spread to the nursery, and refused to preemptively to close other complex services, such as the toy library and the civic center, but also make preventive medical examinations to workers.

California Class Action Lawsuit
We are forming a class action lawsuit against the utilities in CA for health effects from smart meters/smart grid.  We have an attorney...actually, two attorneys. Please help get the word out...we'd like to get LOTS of plaintiffs!!!

Emmy Award winning Jerry Day, maker of the infamous "smart meter tell all" video that got over a million hits made this video to help get the word out about our class action lawsuit against the utilities.  I don't expect we will get near that many hits, but we have already garnered quite a few more plaintiffs since this was sent out last week.

Your help is GREATLY appreciated in getting this out.  Please distribute this video to all your lists as we really do still need plaintiffs to sue the utilities over the deadly health effects smart meters/smart grid are causing and to hopefully put a stop to this insanity!!

Farmer Mike Butler's plea for help:

In a message dated 4/16/2013 9:56:13 A.M. Central Daylight Time, writes:

I am currently in the middle of a stray voltage case battling WE Energ...ies out of Wisconsin. Case number 2011CV000470. I proved that there was an issue with stray voltage, however, I need further proof. This 'additional' testing is going to cost $13,000. I have spend my whole life breeding cows, only to have everything I worked for taken away by stray voltage. Currently, I have spent my whole life savings on this case (to date, I believe I am at about $17,000) The electric company knows that I do not have any more money to spend and they are burying me in legal paperwork. They know that I cannot afford a lawyer to keep fighting the fight.

I was wondering if you know any investors that could help out with this case. It will be a monumental case due to the fact of the high caliber cows that I worked with. Mike Behr, a forensic economist out of Minnesota, is working on my losses. The initial report said my estimate of $2.7 million, was on the lighter end.

I am at my wits end. I have the attorney hired to help me get back onto the farm to do the testing. His name is William Rassmussen with Hammarback Law offices. In addition. Schmitt Stray Voltage Testing in Platteville, WI sent me an estimate on the testing. Its the $13,000 that is holding me up.

For more information about my story, please refer to . I am trying to raise $10,000 for additional testing.

Please help out with this cause. I do not know what else to do. I know you deal specifically with children, however, I believe you can point me in the right direction to bring light to my campaign. Could you possibly lead me to discussion boards, support groups, etc?

Thank you for your time and consideration,

Mike Butler

Radar: international conference in Potenza Picena

Saturday, April 20 together key experts in biological and health effects from exposure to electromagnetic fields

Radar side sudL'Auditorium "F. Scarfiotti "Power Picena will bring together the main Italian and international experts on the subject of biological and health effects from exposure to electromagnetic fields. Saturday, April 20 from 8:30 to 18:30 for the international conference "Radar, radio and health risks." The event, organized by the City provided, in cooperation with the Tribunal of Health Power Picena, the Association for Chronic Diseases of intoxication and / or Environmental (AMICA) in Rome and the International Commission for the Security of Electromagnetic Fields (ICEMS), aims to take stock of the landscape of scientific knowledge about the risks associated with exposure to radio frequency emitted by mobile phones, Wi-Fi, Wi-Max, phone masts, and in particular the radar.
"Just in Potenza Picena is installed for over thirty years - the statement of the association paid City - a powerful radar NATO military, suspected to be the cause of the excesses of certain diseases in the local population, including tumors and malformations to birth (Source ADER). The teacher Giovannella Maggini Mazzarella, President of the Court of Health in Potenza Picena and dell'ADER (Association of Defence radar emissions), over 26 years has been conducting a battle against electro-smog, and has collected an incredible technical and scientific documentation and epidemiological data on early deaths, malformations, diseases oncology, which for many years imposed on men, women and children of the small town. Over the years there have been numerous conferences, publications, public meetings, parliamentary questions, complaints, took place with the support of leading researchers who have expressed deep concern about the health consequences linked to emissions Radar Power Picena."
The president of the City provided, Edward Marabini, said: "We believe that this conference can finally make clarity on the complex issue of electromagnetic pollution. We also hope that it can be a great boost for the implementation of measures to protect public health and at the same time will help the citizens to become more aware and demanding that the right to health excels on any kind of interest. " Francesca Romana Orlando, Vice President of AMICA, adds: "They turn to our association more and more citizens concerned about the installation of antennas of mobile phones in the vicinity of their home or their child's school. We count with this conference to reiterate once again that exposure limits are more cautious, for the enforcement of the precautionary principle. "

"Several committees are now in Italy - continues the statement - that are fighting against the rapid and progressive spread of systems that base their operation on the emission of radio frequencies, such as antennas for telecommunications and radar. Quirra, Marsala and Niscemi are just some of the many countries where the population is showing great determination with its opposition to the installation of radar sites because of the risks to health and the environment. In the wake of the demonstrations, the Governor of the Region of Sicily, spreader, recently stated his disapproval of the Muos Niscemi, for which local governments had already strongly opposed, finally withdrawing the authorization and turning on new hopes in the populations involved. "" The goal of this conference is to compare the different experiences of scientists who for years studying the biological effects of radio frequency - said Dr. Fiorenzo Marinelli Institute of Molecular Genetics, CNR, Bologna - in order to offer citizens, but especially to the relevant institutions, instruments of knowledge useful to take decisions on the precautionary principle. "

Wind power kills jobs and increases electricity costs

By Antonella Artuso, Queen's Park Bureau Chief
TORONTO — Ontario's pursuit of wind power has driven up electricity prices, is killing jobs and might even lead to more smog, a new Fraser Institute report says.
Ross McKitrick, author of Environmental and Economic Consequences of Ontario's Green Energy Act (GEA), says the Ontario government's electricity plan is now 10 times more costly than installing pollution-control equipment on existing coal plants — an option he argues would have produced similar improvements in air quality.
His analysis of the GEA concludes the province is well on its way to having some of the highest electricity prices in North America.
"Already, the GEA has caused major price increases for large energy consumers and we're anticipating additional hikes of 40% to 50% over the next few years," McKitrick said in a statement.

Is Ontario's Green Energy Act leading to rising energy costs?

"The Ontario government defends the GEA by referring to a confidential 2005 cost-benefit analysis on reducing air pollution from power plants. That report did not recommend pursuing wind or solar power, instead it looked at conventional pollution control methods that would have yielded the same environmental benefits as the GEA, but at a tenth of the current cost. If the province sticks to its targets for expanding renewables, the GEA will end up being 70 times costlier than the alternative, with no greater benefits."

Monarch Butterflies Disappearing … But Why?

MEXICO CITY (AP) — The amount of Monarch butterflies wintering in Mexico dropped 59 percent this year, falling to the lowest level since comparable record-keeping began 20 years ago, scientists reported Wednesday.

It was the third straight year of declines for the orange-and-black butterflies that migrate from the United States and Canada to spend the winter in mountaintop fir forests in central Mexico. Six of the last seven years have shown drops, and there are now only one-fifteenth as many butterflies as there were in 1997.

Halting Technology that Destroys Ecology

HaltMAsmartmeters and StopSmartMetersMassachusetts offer a free community forum about not-so Green Energy, Tuesday, April 23 from 7:00 – 8:30 pm at the Lanesville Community Center, 8 Vulcan Street, Gloucester, MA.

Joining forces with citizens in over 30 states, activists state that the smart meter grid is exorbitantly costly to ratepayers. The National Institute for Law and Public Policy has concluded that the technology isn't smart, green, safe, healthy, or effective, and doesn't conserve energy. The pulsed microwave radiation utilized to power the  wireless mesh network between home utility meters radiates at power densities that are illegal in most other nations.

Due to escalating health issues, cost, and lack of proven benefit, the groups are calling to end human and ecological experimentation being conducted without the knowledge or consent of citizens and without adequate safety testing, including lack of UL certification.

Local resident Patricia Burke, who became functionally impaired in California due to installation of new electricity infrastructure, will present an overview of the grid and address civil rights concerns and emerging health challenges related to dirty electricity and RF radiation. Port Franks, ON:  Ask Laureen Maurizio what it is like to be forced from your home and she will tell you that no amount of preparation can steel you for the mental anguish.

An active member of the Lakeshore Coalition, Ms. Maurizio has lobbied to prevent the construction of Bell Mobility's telecom tower at Seven Winds Marina in Port Franks. Initially motivated by serious environmental concerns regarding the tower's placement adjacent to Ausable-Port Franks Conservation Area, the 54 year old grandmother became aware of possible economic and multiple health issues that can arise from involuntary exposure to radio-frequency electromagnetic radiation (RF-EMR).

When Bell Tower #W1888 went 'live' March 21st, Laureen Maurizio felt an overwhelming oppression settle over her; followed by headache, neuralgia pain in her temples, dehydration and loss of the ability to concentrate, among other symptoms. "That night I slept in the basement" said Maurizio.  The following day, two friends arrived to remove her from her home. There were dangerously high levels of radiation from the tower antennae, one of which is aimed directly at her house which is situated high on a dune two blocks from the tower.

Ms. Maurizio believes "Under the Human Rights Act, I have a right to live in a safe environment, free from harm.  This Bell tower poses an immediate threat to my life, liberty and security.  I can't live in my own home!  That is a direct threat to me personally."  Attempts to reach either the Ontario Health Minister or Minister of Health Canada have been futile.  Countless phone calls are redirected to other departments unable to help.  Bell denies the existence of what is called "Non-Thermal" health effects and has assured her that no modifications will be made to the tower.  This does not preclude them adding more antennae in future, which would conceivably worsen the situation.

Members of the Lakeshore Coalition and Lambton Shores Municipal Council requested Bell refrain from building in Port Franks, advising that many residents would be made ill in the tower's radius.  The 2012 BioInitiative Report suggests a limit of 3 to 6 microwatts per meter squared (µm/m2) for a healthy adult.  A building biologist measured 8,000 µm/m2 outside Maurizio's home and 163.3 µm/m2  inside the kitchen.  While these readings are far below Canada's Safety Code 6, which protects human tissue from burning, Health Canada has not yet recognized the 'Non-Thermal' effects of radio-frequency electromagnetic radiation that other countries do.  Maurizio hopes the tower will be disabled and that the regulation will be changed so that she may return to her home.
