I have an Aunt, who is to be fitted today with a pace maker  because her heart stops between 3 and 4 A M. I used to get shocked awake at 4 A M. When I went to the USA, despite the time difference, I would waken up at 4 AM. Now I waken between 3 30 A M  and 4 A M. I get back to sleep at 6 A M .

Ground Current Dangers

I just previewed a film on stray voltage, or more properly termed ground current, and the harm it has inflicted on dairy farms.

This issue is much bigger than just affecting dairy farms.  (Dairy farms are a prime site for ground current as the more commercial operations have heavy electric needs with the related high ground currents.)

Below is a link to a news story from 2/11 in Chicago.  There is a short video that shows what is going on and relates the deaths of a few people who were killed by ground current coming through to metal objects, such as man hole covers and metal light poles.  The second link is to Magda Havas' explanation of ground current.

As usual all of this money going into Smart Meters would have been better spent upgrading our electrical system.

Alas, sweet revenge for Germany's Dr. Franz Aldkofer. His landmark 12-institute REFLEX study on DNA impacts of cell phone radiation was once severely challenged, with him accused of scientific fraud. He was later exonerated and the accusations entirely dismissed by an ethics panel. Today, Dr. Adlkofer addressed Harvard Law School's Safra Center for Ethics in a program entitled: "Protection Against... Radiation is in Conflict with Science". Congratulations to Dr. Adlkofer! May all other scientists whose work has been challenged, dismissed, ridiculed, suppressed, manipulated, strategically countered, or not taken seriously by public health bodies, as well as those who have seen their funding dry up, or lost university support because of telcom industry pressure, be lifted up today, knowing there are some universities who still are willing to air truth.

Maine utility admits smart meters cause interference

Utility meters are breaking the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) rule not to interfere with other radio frequency devices.

The Portland Press Herald reports the Maine Public Advocate's office released a statement this week saying:

"Smart Meters are interfering with a wide range of household electronic devices, from garage door openers and WiFi devices to security systems."

On Central Maine Power's FAQ, in answer to the question: "Will the smart meter interfere with my other household appliances such as computer routers, television signal, cordless phones, etc.?" they respond: "Separating interfering devices usually reduces interference, so make sure the wireless device is located as far from the smart meter as possible. Also, adjust the position of the antenna on the device, if possible, and move the wireless device away from any walls that may absorb the signal."

According to the FCC Electronic Code of Federal Regulations: the meters are not supposed to cause interference, and if they do the FCC states,

"The operator of a radio frequency device shall be required to cease operating the device upon notification by a Commission representative  that the device is causing harmful interference."

Anyone experiencing interference please file a complaint with the FCC!

    NEW DELHI: New radiation emission guidelines for mobile phones and telecom towers finalised by the government this week will, for the first time, stipulate emission levels for handsets sold in India and make it compulsory for these levels to be displayed on phones and retail outlets.

    It will also become mandatory for handsfree devices to be sold with handsets as the government feels the use of these devices will significantly reduce the risk of exposure from electromagnetic waves. At present, about 645 models of low-end handsets don't comply with the new emission standards and will have to be redesigned, said the industry body that represents handset makers in the country.
